Michaels - Customer Care Review from Morgantown, Indiana

I am currently standing in line at your store. You have over 5 people on the floor stocking items and moving product around.
I have been in line for 10 miutes with only ONE check out person. I only have two items to purchase. This happens EVERYTIME! Seriously, I have no idea why I keep coming to your store.
Maybe you want to consider self check out lines for customers with no coupons, questions or baskets full of product. Ridiculous.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.

there's no way there will be self check out lines, enough products get stolen under everyone's noses as is.
If you pull people off the floor stocking the shelves, how long do you think you'll be able to buy stuff before the shelves go bare?Honestly people have NO patience anymore!
People on the floor stocking are a part of the replenishment team and as such they can't run the register because a) they don't know how and b) they don't have register logins.
Be that as it may, they still need to hire extra cashiers.
If they do that, each cashier gets roughly 10 hours a week. Not enough to even bother keeping the job.
No they don't did you ever think that someone called out and no one wanted to come in and fill their shift. Call outs happen everyday sometimes multiple call outs.
Yup, they do. I'm the one that covers their shifts.
Thing is, each store has this thing called a "budget." This means the store doesn't have a magical neverending money supply. They hire four extra people, my hours drop down to about 15 a week.
Surprisingly, those of us who work in places that exchange currency for our time spent working have these things to deal with called "bills," because we also, shockingly, don't have magical neverending money supplies. So how about you stop being a whimpering sack of whiny and learn to be patient while also not being a complete waste of DNA.
