Micheals at Evansville Indiana is wost at most! They do not honor ad prices and when asked and pointed out they make you wait 20 minutes and still the manager never comes to help out. They have the worst service. Buy on line or go to hobby lobby.

2 out of 9 frames that I had ordered arrived damaged. The frames were not wrapped properly between each other and the metal backings scratched the front of two frames.

Order number: Order#: MIK3173**** Never picked it up because it wasn't ready on time on Saturday Nov 28th. Went into the store on Nov 29th, and they said they would cancel the order. They didn't cancel the order, so I had to call the store (I received an email stating that I had picked up my order, when I DID NOT. Was promised that it was now cancelled and that I would be refunded in a couple of days (which would have been Wednesday, December 2nd). Even talked with a customer service rep on Monday, November 30th, and they said I would definitely be refunded soon. It is now December 7th and my PayPal account (which I paid out of) has NOT been refunded the $21 ish dollars. I am very upset now because I am a loyal customer and have now been lied to by Michael's employees THREE TIMES. I will start shopping at Hobby Lobby instead if this isn't resolved.

I own a handmade jewelry company. I have purchased a couple different gold plated, nickel free spools of chain. Each one has tarnished and turned black in less two weeks or it has broken apart with the slightest movement. This is UNACCEPTABLE. I am semi-experienced with metal and realize gold plating over copper or brass will tarnish faster. I also realize that different skin chemistries affect how fast gold plating may tarnish. But, one or two weeks?! I cannot sell any necklace made in good faith with this product. I am starting to question whether these items are even truly nickel free, as many of them start to smell awful as well. I promise you that customers would be willing to pay a little extra for quality jewelry making supplies. Gold plating for gold filling (which lasts long) over sterling silver or quality 18k gold lasts longer and can be cleaned without disrupting the chemistry of the metal. Very disappointed.

The store at 8081 Turkey Lake Rd Ste 400, Orlando, FL 32819 has the nicest Michaels employees that I have met. I frequent the chain a lot, as an artist, and the employees at this store always greet me with energy when I have a question, a pick up, or checking out. I never feel like Im an inconvenience or wasting their time. I really appreciate it.

Heath Hazard and Poor Customer Service

My recent visit to Michaels Store at 1205 Coolidge Hwy, Troy, MI was a disaster. This is the Christmas season so I would assume additional employees would be added to the roster to help out.

This was clearly NOT the case at this store. My visit on 4 December to buy 2 pieces of poster board took no less than 40 minutes to complete! Of the 7 cashier stations only TWO were open and as a result there were over 20 people in line for checkout at all times. This type of situation is not only inconvenient for the shopper but in this day in age of COVID, having 20 people grouped together (social distancing and all) for over 20 minutes - even with face masks - raises the odds of possibly becoming infected and is a unnecessary danger to the shopper.

I would think with health restrictions being what they are, Michaels number one focus would be to get the consumer in AND OUT of the store as quickly and efficiently as possible. I realize staffing of stores these days is difficult with COVID but desperate times mean extra measures have to be put in place and staffing levels increased if need be. Plenty of people are out of work and looking for a job so there should be no excuse for understaffed stores.

I will think twice about ever visiting this Michaels location again. My next email will be to the Michigan health department for the unsafe conditions at this store.

No Gift Card

I have charged over $1,000.00 at Michael's for framing items for my son's new apartment in the past six months. I went in last week to buy a gift card...one cannot use a credit card to buy gift cards, only debit cards, I do not have a debit card. I went to the bank to get cash...due to the pandemic my bank was closed. I went home to get a check. Go into Michael's they do not take checks. It takes 10 days for them to get their money if a check is used. Well, it will takes years before I go back to that store. Done. Finished. They can take my credit card for all other types of items...so no business from me. EVER!!!

I ordered a Xmas inflatable. It came, didnt work, nbd.

I call customer service, which was located in Manilla, Philippines. The girl was very nice, but heavy accent was a problem, and she couldnt make a decision unless it came from her script.

I was suppose to get an email, print it, return the inflatable, and new one being sent. Never received an email, or inflatable. Go to Michaels store in Feasterville, PA, to seek help, SINCE MICHAELs HAS NO AMERICAN CUSTOMER SERVICE PPL, or any way to talk a manager/supervisor.

The manager at store very helpful, except for when I asked for a GMs info. She wouldve give. She go take my number, call her GM, who said hed call me. Ironically, his name is Michael.

Ive heard nothing.

I went online, attempted to find any number/email to talk to their corporate office in Irving, TX. NOTHING!!

This is an American company, who refuses to talk to its customers. So I have no further actions to take , so I am done with Michaels.

I'm trying to get my W-2 from Michaels

I worked last year for the Union city store for over a year and last august they stopped scheduling me. they never called or have contacted me. still. I just want my W-2 form, so I can send in my taxes. The store did and has treated me badly.

Michael's contacted me and stated the Southdale store is out of stock on Arches watercolor paper. I ALREADY KNEW THAT. The store needs to order more of this paper and keep it in stock.
